(We also feature examples of sustainable inventing &#8211; we are searching for a sustainable inventing methodology.)<br \/>The tapescripts are followed by notes to verify the method, the findings and to reflect on what is being learned.<\/p>\n<p>The creativity techniques they use are a kind of visualisation, where they &#8220;visit&#8221; a place or country which has solved the problem they are dealing with.<br \/>They describe their experiences as they go.<\/p>\n<p>For sustainability, groups have discovered that no new technology is needed, it is the way old technology is used that is the issue.<\/p>\n<p>That is to say sustainability promoting inventions are social inventions.<\/p>\n<p>Inventions so far:<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/home.swipnet.se\/hinton\/Porena\/Radiality_report2.pdf\">Radiality (city planning to radically reduce transport needs)<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/home.swipnet.se\/hinton\/Porena\/DSC.pdf\">Sustainability circles (like study circles but leading to sustainable behaviour)<\/a><br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.avbp.net\/html\/porena.html\">Inventing for the sustainable planet: Porena ( journeys in short novel form)<\/a><br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/porena.blogspot.com\/2004\/08\/centres-of-well-being.html\">Centres of well-being (on-going)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>New social order&#8221; the go along society&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/porena.blogspot.com\/2005\/03\/lets-visit-place-that-works.html\">Interview with Porena City Manager (borrowed Genius)<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Blog features the tapescripts (mostly) of groups` s sessions to invent sustainable technology.
